Producing the Birkdalian has, once again, been a mammoth
team endeavour with major contributions throughout the
year from some budding journalists in Prep 4, the Birkdalian
Editorial Team and, with a huge effort in the final few weeks
of the year, while everyone else was winding down, the Design
Team. We would like to thank everyone who has written an
article, taken some photos or sent in a special piece of work.
It would be wonderful to be able to print absolutely everything
which has been submitted, but sadly there isn’t enough space
–
so sorry if your contribution doesn’t appear - please do keep
sending things for next year.
It is amazing to look at the enormous range of activities which
take place within our school, and there are plenty more which
aren’t reported here. I hope you enjoy reading about the
areas you are familiar with and also those you didn’t even
know existed – perhaps you will be inspired to try something
new.
It is impossible to mention everyone personally who has been
involved in making this happen but I will just say a big ‘thank
you’ to a few people without whom we would never have got
off the ground:
Pip Burch – for heading up the Prep School contribution
Chris Rodgers – for overseeing the design work
Jamie Hollings – for just about everything else! I hope I have
learned enough from Jamie in the last 2 years to manage with-
out him next year as he heads off to university.
